Before every flight, we hear some version of these instructions. Because you have to be able to breathe in order to help.

Peninsula Community Foundation was created to serve those who serve our neighbors. We are the often quiet partner helping those who are on the frontline providing lifesaving service to our community every day.

But to serve - we, too, need to breathe.

We have three primary sources that fuel this Foundation:

1. Earnings on investments that were established for the sole purpose of supporting us.

2. Modest charges for the business services we provide - fund investment, oversight and administration; stewardship; community research; grant management and reporting.

3. Gifts from donors who want to make sure we keep breathing, and serving. They know that supporting us means we will always be there to serve those who serve our neighbors. We too are a nonprofit. We rely on individuals, families, businesses and organizations who understand who we are, what we do, why we are here and how we make life better.
